"Where did the logo come from," you may be asking. The same place this page did, my computer!

It is a variation on the symbol for civil defense. The goal of civil defense is to protect citizens of a state from military or natural disasters. Community defense, to me, is an effort by a community, to protect a community, from; the state, police, ICE, etc., fascists or white supremacists, and natural or other disasters.
